CGI is seeking an Infrastructure as Code engineer. The engineer will rely on their growing technical skills and experience to design, estimate, present and deliver technical solutions with clean, well-organized and expressive code to CGI's customer base.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Create Infrastructure as Code processes and solutions using Automation Technology, ansible plays, playbooks, and roles to provision, deploy, secure, and maintain virtual and physical Linux hosts• Work with the developers and other support groups to spin up applications into the cloud using automation• Use automation to spin up applications into the cloud and to remove the friction that is preventing developers from being effective technologist• Execute troubleshooting skills to address stability objectives both reactively and proactively.• Employ simple design and pragmatic implementation techniques to drive business value

• Minimum 6 years of experience with `infrastructure as code` IAC and using tools such as Terraform and Ansible• Knowledge and Experience in Ansible Playbook and Role creation.• Solid working knowledge of Cloud technologies. Azure is preferred. • Minimum 2 years' experience of writing scripts in Python, PowerShell or Bash• Comfortable building applications in two or more programming languages with a strong understanding of fundamental web/internet technologies• Experience working with an Source Code Management such as Git is a plus• Strong documentation skills, organization skills, and the ability to interact with team members cross-functionally.• Strong communication skills.• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,000 - $223,200."
