Role:  

We are seeking a talented, energetic, self-starter for an Infrastructure Engineer position in our New York office. The successful candidate will leverage the latest tools and concepts to provide exceptional service delivery across the enterprise. The role will be focused primarily on maintaining and enhancing the firm’s current infrastructure landscape, with ongoing consideration on how emerging technologies could enhance operation efficiency or resiliency. A basic understanding of financial markets and trade lifecycles is a plus. 

Responsibilities: 

• Deployment, configuration, management and troubleshooting of on-prem and cloud hosted technology infrastructure, including but not limited to:
  • Switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, WAPs
  • Compute and storage infrastructure
  • Voice and video conferencing hardware and software
• General Windows server administration and troubleshooting.
• Escalation point for end-user support issues in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Overseeing and implementing infrastructure hardware/software lifecycle management.
• Maintaining documentation and enforcing secure system policies.
• Participating in an off hour on-call rotation and occasional weekend work.

Experience: 

• 5 - 8 years of experience in an infrastructure-focused role with exposure to end-user support.
• Scripting experience in Microsoft PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of networking and routing concepts.
• Exposure to issue tracking and change management processes.
• Exposure to the following technologies a plus:
• Nutanix HCI
• Azure Stack HCI
• Cisco IOS and CUBE
• FortiGate
• Azure IaaS
• Zoom Meetings / Rooms / Phone
• Okta / Duo

Pay range in New York:

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Base salary- $150,000/yr - $200,000/yr
