Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud Delivery Lead
Job Description
- Working with CCB-products to drive cloud adoption - mainly AWS, GCP
- Form partnerships and collaborations, and drive commitments across diverse teams to deliver cloud solutions.
- Drive cost estimates of cloud platforms, especially based on workload analysis
- Drive adoption of standard patterns and best practices across various areas - Resiliency, Observability, Infrastructure as Code, CICD, etc.
- Drive agile practices to enable cloud adoption
- Drive large-scale engineering efforts that solve significantly complex or endemic problems.
- Consistently bring strong, data-driven business and technical judgment to the decision process.
- Drive architecture or organizational changes that enable engineering teams to work more independently and achieve significant efficiency improvements.
- Recognize and drive opportunities for automation to increase the scale of customer delight and lead the development of such automation.
- Developing and using metrics to constantly improve the operating model
- Define requirements, prepare launch plans, determine release goals, and prioritize features and milestones
- Experience with high volume, mission critical applications, and building upon messaging and or event-driven architectures. Understanding of container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- Advanced knowledge in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (program management, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision).
- Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms.
- Understanding of Agile delivery principles and tools.
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
- Keen understanding of financial control and budget management.
- Expertise in working in in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Passionate about building an innovative culture.
- Experience with production support of highly available applications.

- Has communicated complex issues and concepts verbally and in writing to a wide range of audiences from technical developers to non-technical executives.
- Has collaborated, formed partnerships, and driven commitments across the enterprise to deliver cloud solutions.
- Has done cost estimates of cloud platforms, especially based on workload analysis.
- Work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Has worked successfully in a results-oriented environment.
- Used data and metrics to drive the right outcome.
- Addressed issues related to cloud on-boarding and deployments.
- Developed, implemented, and enforced policies applicable to entire organizations.

- Advance knowledge on AIX and Virtualization and UNIX/Linux platforms is a plus.
- SRE mindset Culture/Approaches: to run better production systems by creating engineering solutions to operational problems.
- Working knowledge or experience in any of coding languages or tools like Python, Perl, Unix Scripting, Ansible and other dev ops tools is added advantage.
- Strong experience of NAS and SAN infrastructure and component.
- Good working knowledge of monitoring systems such as Datadog, CloudWatch, Tivoli, Geneos, etc.
