What you will do

Lead Infrastructure is responsible for leading and supporting the design and implementation of core On Prem infrastructure components. Utilizes advanced technical skills to coordinate design, enhancement and deployment efforts and provide insight and recommendations for operating enterprise infrastructure solutions. Works closely with application and infrastructure support teams, project managers, network and system engineers, and other technology support teams. Documents critical design and configuration details required to support the delivery of enterprise cloud services.

How will you do it

• Lead and Manage Infrastructure team (Wintel, NIX and Storage).
• Coordinate and manage support relationship with All Infrastructure vendors
• Monitor SLA's and KPI's for Vendors
• Recommend changes to manage SLA's and KPI's better
• Drive automation through Vendor
• Manage Infrastructure support Vendor teams.
• Identify the Infrastructure deployment patterns and work with Infrastructure Engg and Architecture team deployment.
• Support deployment templates or patterns as requested by Customer.
• Monitoring all the Infrastructure
• VM management
• Manage Virtual Networks (VPCs) and Subnets
• Patch management (System updates assessment and updates)
• Endpoint Management, Native Load-Balancer, NSG, IP address Management, management of virtual networks in cloud
• Support DR set up & restore environment for disaster recovery
• 3rd party vendor coordination for troubleshooting

What we look for

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or Higher in similar field preferred.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years as a lead engineer for Wintel/NIX teams
• Experience with enterprise migration to public clouds, such as MS Azure and Advance Threat Protection solutions
• Minimum 2 years of technical experience in enterprise infrastructure build and deployment including private and public cloud, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization, and access control.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with VMWare, RHEL etc.

Preferred Skills

• 3 or more years with Virtualization including Virtualization Server, Storage, Desktop, Network
• 3 or more years with Infrastructure-Based Processes such as Monitoring, Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning, Asset Management, Disaster Recovery
• 2 or more years with Hyper-V, Virtual Infrastructure, Platform Sizing

Skills and Knowledge:

• VMWare, Hyper-V, RHEL, AIX, AS400 (Exposure), Storage appliances etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Independent judgement and decision-making abilities
• Working knowledge of LEAN/Continuous improvement
