Introduction
The infrastructure running industries likes transportation energy insurance banking or healthcare is quickly changing as the world’s relationship with technology evolves. Companies have more choices than ever before between on-premise off-premise or a hybrid approach. Our Infrastructure Specialists are responsible for keeping up with these latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  1. Cloud Architecture Design : Designing and architecting cloud solutions that align with the organization’s requirements and best practices. This involves selecting the appropriate cloud services components and configurations to meet business objectives.
  2. Cloud Infrastructure Deployment : Setting up and configuring cloud environments including virtual machines networks storage and security. This may involve using platforms like AWS Azure Google Cloud or other cloud service providers.
  3. Resource Management : Managing cloud resources efficiently including provisioning and deprovisioning resources as needed to optimize costs and performance.
  4. Security and Compliance : Implementing and maintaining security measures and compliance standards to protect data and applications in the cloud. This includes network security access controls encryption and compliance audits.
  5. Monitoring and Performance Optimization : Implementing monitoring and alerting systems to ensure cloud infrastructure is performing optimally. Analyzing performance data and adjusting as necessary.
  6. Disaster Recovery and Backup : Developing and maintaining disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data and applications are protected and can be restored in the event of a failure.
  7. Automation and Scripting : Writing scripts and using automation tools to streamline deployment and management tasks increasing efficiency and reducing manual work.
  8. Scalability : Planning for and implementing solutions that can scale easily to meet increased demand ensuring applications remain responsive and available.
  9. Cost Management : Monitoring and managing cloud costs optimizing resource usage and recommending cost-saving measures.
  10. Collaboration : Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers DevOps engineers and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud resources into the overall infrastructure.
  11. Documentation : Maintaining thorough and up-to-date documentation for cloud infrastructure configurations and procedures.
  12. Troubleshooting and Support : Providing support for cloud-related issues and incidents diagnosing and resolving problems to minimize downtime.
  13. Education and Training : Staying updated on cloud platform developments best practices and new technologies. Providing guidance and training to team members or end-users.
  14. Compliance with Policies : Ensuring that all cloud infrastructure and activities comply with the organization’s policies industry regulations and security standards.
  15. Vendor Relations : Building and maintaining relationships with cloud service providers to understand their offerings negotiate contracts and stay informed about updates and changes.
  16. Capacity Planning : Assessing the organization’s capacity needs and planning for growth or contraction as necessary.
  17. Optimizing Resource Utilization : Identifying underutilized resources and optimizing their use which can lead to cost savings.
  18. Cloud Cost Analysis : Analyzing and reporting on cloud costs making recommendations for budget optimization.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  1. Expertise with RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
  2. Expertise with Kubernetes.
  3. Expertise with Helm Charts
  4. Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies.
  5. Expertise in Weblogic in Docker
  6. Experience with DevOps Tools : Jenkins UrbanCode Deploy GITLab
  7. Experience with Scripting
  8. Available to work Flexible Late hours and provide weekend support (Mandatory)
  9. Provides 24/7 technical operations support for cloud based solutions to Clients on supported application DevOps middleware security and infrastructure.
  10. Should have used monitoring tools such as Dynatrace EFK to monitor the Client’s environment. Technical understanding of Cloud platform Container management Kubernetes node ICP management HA infrastructure and load balancers.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  1. Working knowledge in IBM Business Process Manager / WebSphere Application Server
  2. Ability to succeed in a fast paced high demand environment.
  3. Demonstrates strong customer service awareness and orientation.
  4. Exemplifies leadership characteristics.
  5. Work in a distributed team with excellent collaboration skills
  6. Should be able to handle tasks without guidance.
  7. As a single integrated E2E operation support that includes Level 1.5 remediation across the fleet. Following a standard workflow and incident handing processes they receive and record incident related information using a variety of tools and process selects appropriate actions to resolve issues and communicates the solution or action plan to the Client.
  8. Supports number of tools part of the Integrated toolchain. They use professional knowledge and problem determination / source identification skills to resolve problems involving APIs application services IaaS PaaS SaaS microservices containers Kubernetes nodes ICP management middleware components network security and infrastructure issues alike. If unable to resolve will triage and route the incident to the appropriate level of support.
  9. Understand high level cloud application architecture and the ability to do initial analysis on incidents. Provide Application ID management support.
  10. Provide cloud elasticity by auto scaling up/down of resources based on the business requirements. Provide DR and manual redundancy fail overs. Provide daily weekly & monthly integrated service management reports across the solution. Would work on ticketing tool such as ServiceNow IBM Control Desk & Remedy . Should understand the ITIL processes of Incident (including Critical Incident Management) Problem Change management and Integrated Service Level Management.
