The Role

As a BMC Remedy SME your core responsibilities include managing the configuration and administration activities of Remedy ITSM/ARS from versions 9.1 to 20.x and beyond, as well as BMC Smart IT from version 2.0 to 20.x and beyond. Additionally, it involves configuring and administering BMC Digital Workplace.

A key part of the role is supporting, troubleshooting, and developing integrations between Remedy and third-party applications or other BMC products, ensuring seamless operations. The role also requires addressing and resolving any platform-related issues promptly.

Further responsibilities include overseeing the completion of all project deliverables within specified timelines, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to team members, as well as participating in production change deployments and offering post-go-live support to ensure stability and smooth transitions."

Required Skills and Experience

• 7 plus years of relevant experience across all ITSM modules and integrations, Smart IT and Digital Workplace
• Experience with Remedy upgrades, integrations suite, ARS ITSM customizations, and understanding of workflows
• Remedy ITSM, Atrium CMDB, ARS 9 or above, ITSM suite Web Services
• Hands on experience on Remedy data configuration, migration. Familiar with DWP service requests, workflows and catalog

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Contribute to major projects and services as they impact the delivery of agreed plans to users and ensure investments achieve their objectives
• Investigate designated problems, and recommend technically sound options to adapt generic hardware and software to new developmental and operating requirements
• Conduct research, investigations and feasibility studies into designated technical issues and problems.
