Innovation Architect (Sr. Director, D&A Innovation)

Equifax is looking for a Sr. Director of Data & Analytics Innovation to join our world-class Product, Data, Analytics, and Technology (PDAT) Center of Excellence (COE). We are looking to hire a brilliant, highly inspired, hands-on Innovation Architect to initiate and lead complex innovation projects from ideation to monetization. This individual contributor role provides a highly visible opportunity to make a large impact on Equifax's new production innovation engine. You will partner with the Product organization to bring high priority product concepts to market quickly.

What you'll do

• Research market problems, define innovation initiatives to attempt to solve these problems, and drive minimum viable product (MVP) development of the innovation initiatives
• Collaborate with senior data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to develop the solution architecture of MVPs
• Take an active role in monthly executive stakeholder meetings with leadership from Product, Technology, Marketing, and Data & Analytics
• Curate new innovation ideas from various sources across the organization and prioritize them based on market opportunity assessment
• Implement and enhance processes to increase the innovation project success rate, measured by ideas graduated into the marketplace in partnership with business units
• Passionately drive innovation that makes it to the market and results in new revenue

What experience you need

• B.S. degree required in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Computational Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or a similar quantitative discipline
• MBA and/or consulting experience
• 6+ years of experience in a combination of data and analytics, strategy or technology consulting, solutions architecture, and/or product management
• 2+ years of demonstrable experience in leading prototyping / MVP initiatives and taking them to market for monetization
• 2+ years of experience presenting to senior executives, demonstrating dynamic cross functional collaboration skills with business, legal, and compliance

What could set you apart

• Experience with machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) preferred
• Experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knowledge of identity/fraud, credit risk, and/or marketing products and services across various industries
• Experience with any of following tools: JIRA, Confluence, Google Slides & Sheets
• Agile Scrum experience preferred
