Innovation Intern (hybrid/remote opportunity)

What You'll Be Doing:

The intern will learn about "Deal Flow" which is the process by which we identify and evaluate startup companies. This will include opportunities to observe and apply what they are learning in real life situations and day-to-day operations via job shadowing and mentoring opportunities. This role will allow various exposure and involvement in multiple projects.

• Assist the Innovation team with "Deal Flow" which is the process by which we identify and evaluate startup companies. Participate in calls with companies, assist in reporting, evaluating and managing the process from the first introductory call through to a proof-of-concept or pilot
• Participate and help develop/prepare/run cultural events such as "Innovation Presents" and departmental Innovation events
• Actively participate in various Grange hosted events teams of Grange subject matter experts and external parties

What You'll Bring To The Company:

• Candidates must be working toward a Bachelor's degree (open to all college majors). Desire to enhance processes and capabilities with a passion for innovation and technology. Highly inquisitive with a desire to learn and problem solve, and comfortable with ambiguity. Computer experience including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access preferred. Good time management, organizational and interpersonal skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.
