Job Overview

RightLabs is responsible for developing and delivering customer-centric strategies and innovative solutions that meet our customers’ current and emerging needs with the goal of driving significant increases to customer engagement and revenue.

The team is accountable for leveraging customer and competitive insights to understand the highest priority current and emerging customer needs and then developing solutions that meet those needs of Accounting Firms, Bookkeepers and their connected small business clients.

This Innovation Marketing Lead role reports to the Senior Director of Product and will be responsible for both creating the capability to innovate rapidly (leading the effort to stand up an innovation process and create the innovation playbook) as well as owning new customer-centric innovation initiatives as they move through the phases of innovation, starting with insights and ideation and ending with a fully formed new product that has been tested in the real world and can be handed off for scaled implementation across our platform.

This is a remote work position.

Responsibilities

As our Innovation Marketing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving RightLab’s product portfolio. Working closely with our Innovation Strategists, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Growth Marketing: Oversee user acquisition, activation, and engagement efforts. Develop and implement strategic plans to effectively launch new products and services. Identify new opportunities and channels to reach our target audience.
  • Content Marketing: Spearhead the launch of a new blog and podcast, managing its development and content creation. Define and execute a content strategy for our blog and podcast. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate compelling content that aligns with our brand and mission.
  • Product Marketing: Design and implement pricing and packaging strategies for new products. Create engaging product narratives and compelling value propositions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years delivering results in product development, product management, growth marketing, product led growth or management consulting
  • Experience leading ideation and innovation processes or working sessions a strong plus
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written), able to lead discussion and shape outcomes with key stakeholders
  • Strong ability to collaborate and engage across functions and business lines and build strong working relationships with business partners at all levels of management – be someone others want to work with
  • Understanding of digital / product touch points in consumer finance with a broad knowledge of digital best practices and strategies in the industry
  • Strong passion for technology, industry awareness, and ability to think big and imagine products and features that can help consumers in their everyday digital financial lives
  • Exhibits a strong drive for results and success, demonstrates a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes, and routinely exceeds expectations
