The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Innovation Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leads cross-functional product development teams developing medical devices through a stage gate development process
• Conducts technical and business focused project phase reviews with senior leaders and functional management
• Determines all project management activities associated with running and motivating a high performing project team with minimal direct supervision for meeting project objectives
• Supports cross-functional team members in the development of business plans to support new product launches, regulatory strategies, design solutions, clinical development plans, etc.
• Ensures project compliance with FDA and other regulatory body requirements

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Engineering, Sciences, or Business from an accredited institution
• Eight (8) to twelve (12) years of related work experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Three (3) - four (4) years of experience specifically in project leadership in a regulated industry within in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Business
• Interpersonal and communication skills to present complex information to executive leadership
• Ability to lead in a cross-functional/matrix organization
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to enable resolution of ambiguous situations with creative solutions
• Experience with MS Office application, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
• PMP Certification preferred

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
