Innovation Studio Senior Technology Lead

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Technology Lead you will lead the development of innovative showcases and support our Innovation Studio team by translating business requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. You will play a key role in our success by transforming vital business needs into code and driving innovation. Your work will support IBM and our clients globally collaborating and integrating code into enterprise systems. Your responsibilities will include but aren’t limited to:

• Develop showcases and PoCs to emphasize the impact and value of novel technologies and IBM offerings for innovation
• Collaborate with a team of software developers architects and specialists.
• Working with brand and product specialists to align assets to client needs
• Collaborating with the IBM ecosystem of product development research and industry experts to shape inspiring showcases that deliver tangible impact for our customers
• Working with our Studio teams to maintain and localize demos and showcases
• Define the technical strategy and standards for the global organization
• Researching latest technology for showcase platforms and subsequently studio infrastructure
• Ensuring reliable performant and secure solutions by applying agile methods

We offer a dynamic blend of personal flexibility and a thriving in-office environment. You will work in a diverse and worldwide team and gain experience in understanding the entire product lifecycle and the skills to apply this independently. This role requires three days of in-office presence per week with two days for remote work.

This is a Hybrid role attendance to the office will be required only 3 times per week.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• You are very technically savvy and always on the lookout for the latest trends and developments
• Experience translating business trends and needs into solutions
• Deep understanding of and hands-on experience with artificial intelligence and hybrid cloud systems including common deployment and architectural patterns
• Technical background and knowledge of IBM platforms and products
• Working knowledge of the competitive landscape
• Solid analytical decision making problem-solving communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Understanding of modern application development methods and frameworks or exposure to full stack development preferably React TypeScript Python
• Fluent in English both written and verbal.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience translating business trends and needs into solutions
• Ability to demonstrate creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
• Possesses strong leadership and collaboration skills
• Holds an Architecture or IT Specialist Certification Level 2 or higher
• Proficiency in IT infrastructure and network compliance management
• Wide technical network inside and outside of IBM
