The HPE Inside Sales team based in Plano, Texas is growing exponentially! This an onsite role and the onsite requirement will resume post-pandemic.
In this role you will:
- Be the hunter of net new opportunities for HPE and our Partners
- Build, maintain, forecast and close sales pipeline for Unnamed accounts within an assigned territory
- Effectively manage the Customer-Reseller-HPE alignment to drive and accelerate sales opportunities to closure
- Develop and nurture a strategic and mutually beneficial relationship with the channel community (i.e., Distributors, Value Add Resellers (VARs), Alliances, etc.) to gain market share while driving significant profitable growth in the market
Role & Responsibilities:
- Achieve team sales growth goals
- Actively engage with Customers, Channel Sales and Distributors on calls and meetings to drive, and increase revenue generating opportunities
- Understand client requirements and competitively position HPE solutions to meet customer needs
- Sell solutions, products and services in your assigned territory based on defined collaborative strategies and plans to drive sales and market share growth
- Grow the company business overall and the company's share of business by developing deep strategic relationships with partners
- Continually develop selling skills, product knowledge and understanding of HPE
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Business Management or equivalent. Technical degree preferred.
- 1-3 years sales experience preferred
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation); mastery in English and local language
- Ability to apply analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of business and sales processes and practices, as well as the IT industry, competing vendors, and Indirect route to market.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
- Proven ability to collaborate and network with other groups and functions to reach business objectives, in support of the customer/partner requirements.
- Ability to effectively communicate plans, proposals, and results and negotiate options.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain good relationships with external customers/partners.
