Your challenge/Role summary:
This inside sales role will focus on creating Lumify sales from leads created by digital marketing activities, trade shows, and aligned territory account assignment. Primary job responsibilities are to make outbound calls to build strong customer relationships and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. Grow sales of assigned customer portfolio through creating and maintaining long-term customer satisfaction. Identifying opportunities within an assigned customer base and the ability to present solutions virtually by upselling and cross-selling solutions is essential. Prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business within the geographical aligned territory is essential to this role. The role will have aligned territories.
Key areas of responsibilities (KARS) for this role include:
- Responsible for generating and qualifying sales leads/opportunities via inbound and outbound telephone calls and digital communication for aligned territory.
- Achieve sales conversions to meet the defined business revenue goals.
- Achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly KPI metrics as well as achieving sales quota.
- Meet & exceed productivity outreach efforts to customers (primarily telephone and email communications).
- Meet or exceed lead-to-contact KPIs defined by the business: outbound calls, virtual demos, order intake (OIT)
- Effectively utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications to document outreach efforts, account management plans, next steps/actions, & leads/opportunity notes.
- Enter and review sales orders for accuracy in the order management tool.
- Ability to maintain thorough current and competitive product knowledge and clear understanding of market dynamics in order to offer creative solutions to customers and territory and prepare/execute territory strategies and action plans.
- Time management is essential in this role and the ability to shift focus on inbound, outbound, and other responsibilities all while serving the needs of the customer and achieving sales funnel and revenue requirements.
- Responsible for account management duties to create, develop, and execute sales strategies.
- Study market and account trends for the aligned geographical territories. Seek ways to broaden and expand the Philips product offerings to new customers while also raising the awareness and interest for Philips product portfolio and communcate trends to the Sales and Business groups.
- Be the main point of contact for Philips customers and work with cross-functional team members to resolve customer issues.
- Responsible for maintaining customer relationships and promoting the Philips brand through a variety of solution & service offerings.
- Gain account intelligence for new/existing accounts including current equipment, number of units, decision maker and future plans.
- Participate and advise in the development and implementation of Direct Marketing campaigns in various market segments in partnership with Sales/Business/Marketing colleagues.
- Routinely follow-up with existing customers (install base) to ensure they are getting the most out of their equipment and be prepared to propose other services/promotions/product offerings to help meet other needs as identified.
- Work with Inventory Manager to coordinate short-term Lumify product demos on an as needed basis to facilitate Lumify sales.
- Partner with field sales representative on larger ultrasound opportunities.
- Attend and support trade shows as needed.
Your team
The mission of the Point of Care team is to increase access to ultrasound by offering a disruptive, app-based ultrasound solution built around a bring-your-own-smart-device model. As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will be a part of a larger organization and report to the Sales Operations Leader. Teamwork and collaboration with aligned account resources is critical to the success of this role.

Specific skill requirements for this role include:
- Commissioned inside or field sales experience with demonstrable history of quota achievement.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience working in a sales environment, calling on customers, and prospecting for new customers.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Ability to build relationships with key decision makers.
- Determine customer's requirements and recommend Philips solutions & services.
- Presentation, Planning, and Organizational skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, relationship & transactional sales environment
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or equivalent.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- Experience selling into the ultrasound space is a plus
