As a Remote Inside Sales Coordinator, you'll be responsible for being a guide to our important trade customers, and assisting them through their journey with Lighting New York. You will qualify inbound opportunities, follow up on quotes, and engage with customers through outbound activities such as phone outreach. We place immense value on having direct dialogue with our customers! This is an entry-level position with an opportunity for advancement.

Location: Remote

Salary: $40,000 - $45,000

Job Description:

We are looking for an energetic and proven inside sales coordinator to join our trade professional team, assisting with lead qualification, quote follow up, and other important inbound sales activities as deemed necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience with B2B sales processes, including the use of customer relationship management software, outbound customer engagement tactics, and relationship building.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide new sales opportunities through customer touch points, including inbound lead nurturing and outbound calls and emails
  • Assist trade customers through B2B sales process by understanding their needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to appropriate sales and customer care teams for further development and closure as needed
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in our Professional ProgramΒ 
  • Track and report on sales activity through CRM software

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in a B2B setting
  • Strong sales and communication skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
