What you will do
- The Inside Sales Coordinator is the owner of all customer interactions from the bid request through the release to production.
- This role will aim to make Eastern Sheet Metal the easiest duct manufacturer to work with for sales representatives by efficiently allocating resources to successfully and efficiently quote, revise, detail, submit, and release duct projects.
- As a member of the ESM leadership team, the successful candidate will be able to not only manage existing processes effectively, but also develop and implement improvements and automations to continuously improve the process from both the customer and internal perspective.
- Own and oversee training, cross-training, and onboarding process for new team members for compliance to existing policies and procedures.

- High School Diploma required; Associate of Arts Degree (A.A.S) preferred; and five to seven years of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word, MS PowerPoint Word Processing software. Experience using AS400 operating systems is a plus.
