The Sales Support/Quotations associate is responsible for quoting commercial plumbing projects at the request of Famous Supply contractors. 

Primary Job Responsibilities 

• Print off project specifications and related drawings provided by Famous outside sales department 

• Create job bid maintenance files to contain all project quotes 

• Communicate with outside sales representatives on the status and or completion of project quotes 

• Retrieve and utilize vendor quotes specific to commercial job project quotes 

• Build relationships with vendor representative firms 

• File and maintain all hard copy bid materials in an orderly fashion 

• Obtain accurate and most current product cost 

• Prioritize tasks and time while working on multiple projects 

• Offer assistance to inside sales department as well as other Famous departments on product specifics and functions 

• Accurately cross reference products by way of specification sheets or "tech sheets" 

Required Experience and Skills 

• Being a Self-Starter is essential 

• Comfortable contributing to a Team

• Demonstrated Ability to be creative in problem solving 

• Moderate computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel) 

Preferred Experience and Skills 

• Willing to accept challenges where there are limited initial parameters for success
