Landis’ mission is to help clients find their unique path to homeownership.  A major part of that is ensuring they get through our application process as efficiently as possible, allowing them to start this journey.  

The Inside Sales Manager for clients, will lead a team of ~5-10 sales agents, focused on calling our clients to get them through the application process and ready for underwriting.  This role will be a leader, designer and operator.  They will build a team, roll-up their sleeves and sell at times, while creating processes and communications that meet the client where they are.  With each step, this team will motivate the client to move forward with each step of the process.  The Inside Sales Manager is an extremely rewarding role, as you are directly helping Landis clients get on their path to homeownership.

This is a full-time position based out of NYC, with the expectation to be in the office 4-5 days per week.

Where you will make an impact:

  • Build a high velocity, high performing inside sales team
  • Create a playbook for an inside sales team; from sales process to incentive plans
  • Successfully led a team of 5+ sales agents or equivalent title
  • Hire a team of 7 sales agents to start, with larger growth potential once successful 
  • Motivate and inspire a junior level sales team daily to meet and exceed target goals
  • Hold themselves and their team accountable to performance metrics
  • Create sales goals that can exceed company expectations and scale in tandem with the growth of Landis
  • Act and feel personally responsible for getting each, individual client into their dream home
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, while never losing sight of their own house

Your background includes:

  • 5-8 years out of college with at least 3 years of leading a team of 5+
  • History of exceeding quota while both leading teams and as a transactional seller
  • Experienced as both a seller and leader of others
  • Has experience working directly with consumers
  • Ideally has an understanding of banking or underwriting (not required)
  • Loves a challenge 
  • High energy
  • Structured, loves process and lives in data
  • Rolls up their sleeves and can do anything that they ask of others
  • Salesforce whiz
  • Can tell you 5 things they would improve from each failed experience
  • Mortgage process experience is a plus
  • Cares deeply about our mission
