Primary Responsibilities:

  • Management of all inside sales activities, processes, and procedures for multiple brands and product types.
  • Management of the inside sales staff in support of the multiple selling channels deployed, that being through RSMs, KAMs, Third Party Sales Agents or Companies, Distributors, Wholesalers and OEMs
  • Daily Coaching, training, evaluating, and monitoring of inside sales representatives’ performance which includes hiring/terminating, disciplining, administering rewards and pay raises, and all adjustments to headcount and expenses required to achieve and maintain the budget.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching, analyzing, and identifying databases of the potential prospectus for driving the company’s sales grow.
  • Set and track sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain a strong selling team orientation across all EFG divisions.
  • Maintain an understanding of EFG divisional capabilities and work with multiple divisions, when necessary, to serve the customer as a “one-stop” source.
  • Understand basic fastener terminology and communicate effectively with others to remove barriers and win new business.
  • Provide support to other EFG team members to assist in winning new business.
  • Develop and execute performance goals for the inside sales organization.
  • Build strong customer relationships.
  • Partner with Marketing to prepare campaigns and lead generation activities.
  • Working with multiple data systems (ERP, Salesforce, Etc.) to streamline information flow for our internal team, KAMs and manufacturing reps.
  • Manage multiple lead generation tools.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings and KPI reviews.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. General business hours are 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet business demands. Candidate must be able to work in the office 4 days per week at one of the following locations:

  • Brecksville, OH
  • Berea, OH
  • Wheeling, IL
  • Rockford, IL

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field OR equivalent relevant work experience
  • Language: English; verbal and written
  • 7 years’ experience as an Inside Sales Manager or a similar leadership role in industrial manufacturing
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales strategy development, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends in multi-product sales.
  • Excellent computer systems skills which include:
    • Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
    • Salesforce
    • Power BI
    • Understanding of ERP systems

Preferred Education and Experience

  • MBA
  • Bi-lingual language, Spanish preferred
  • 10 years sales experience
