Inside Sales Manager
Job Description
The Inside Sales Manager, Americas (Valve) manages the daily operations of the Inside Sales and Customer Service departments and ensures that all activities are carried out with the highest possible level of professionalism and care for the customer and in compliance with all company policies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage all US Inside Sales and Customer Service Reps and ensure that their essential functions are successfully carried out
- Ensure timely follow up on customer quotes
- Prioritize tasks and motivate employees to accomplish departmental objectives
- Participate in company hiring process to fill open positions in department
- Coordinate job training, both for new employees and to cross-train existing employees
- Evaluate employee performance, both informally on a day-to-day basis, and as a part of the company performance management system
- Ensure that employees follow company policies, procedures and safety practices
- Issue corrective action, up to and including termination, as needed according to company policy and in consultation with Human Resources
- Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years' experience in Inside Sales Management
- Previous experience using ERP and CRM systems is preferred
