How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:
LifeNet Health LifeSciences is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to develop an inside sales function to support our rapidly growing portfolio and customer base. Your role will partner with the sales team and affiliated partners to establish new relationships with customers and manage designated accounts. You will develop and implement creative digital strategies in collaboration with Marketing to source new sales opportunities and build close customer relationships. You will manage enabling platforms, sales reporting/forecasting and take a lead role in the design, implementation, and management of lean commercial processes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will promote and distribute LifeNet Health LifeSciences human primary cells, cell models and services to assigned accounts. You possess consultative sales skills combined with in-depth knowledge of the LifeSciences product portfolio and act as a resource for customers while achieving sales objectives.
What you'll do:
- Lead Generation: Develops and implements creative digital strategies in collaboration with Marketing to source new sales opportunities through in-bound lead follow up and outbound cold calls and e-mails. Develops tailored messaging communications based on market understanding and research to generate sales qualified leads. Identifies and leads the implementation of innovative inside sales platforms, processes, and associated metrics.
- Sales Execution: Contributes to and implements sales strategies, processes, and practices to ensure revenue budget, long-term growth and strategic distribution goals are met. Develops meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty. Develops understanding of customer needs and requirements. Promotes and distributes LifeNet Health LifeSciences cells, models, and services to assigned accounts.
- Technical Support: Acts as the primary contact for in-bound technical support inquiries on LifeNet Health products and services. Provides technical support and training to the sales team and other users on enabling technologies such as customer relationship management platforms as well as products and services.
- Sales Forecasting: Contributes to and implements strategies to advance sales forecasting and reporting to uncover trends that enable growth, margin capture, enhanced sales forecasting, and increased inventory turnover. Serve as the lead in sales and operations planning activities.
What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Bachelor's degree in biology or LifeSciences related field
- 3 Years Sales experience in life sciences industry; cell products
- 2 Years management of distribution channels and/or distributor partnerships
- Proven track record meeting and exceeding, sales goals and objectives
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of LifeSciences research and development: Understanding of life sciences market including drug discovery, agrichemical, and general regulatory requirements.
- Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls.
- Attention to Detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure a high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery.
- Business Acumen: Ability to work independently. Has working knowledge of human anatomy and physiology and the ability to communicate this to others.
- Customer-Centric: Centers themselves around process and customer management that aligns with a developed strategy for working with customers.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at various levels within and outside the organization.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and with others within cross functional roles and relationships.
