Inside Sales Manager I
Job Description
What we're looking for
Reporting into the Director of Inside Sales, the Manager will lead a team of SMB AEs focused on selling SurveyMonkey's Enterprise product into the small and medium business segment (1-500 employees). You will grow a team of sales reps, with a focus on mentoring to lead their professional development and sales performance.
Important Attributes:
1. Mentoring: The SMB AE Manager must have mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate sales reps towards achieving their professional and personal goals. You will use a data-driven framework to quickly identify individual rep’s strengths and weaknesses, provide tailored support and feedback to improve sales performance, and develop customized professional development plans to help reps grow and succeed.
2. You have strong leadership skills, including the ability to set clear expectations, provide direction and feedback, hold team members accountable to the requirements of their role, and create a positive and inclusive team culture that fosters collaboration, learning, and growth.
3. Sales Management: You have experience managing a successful sales team, including the ability to set and achieve sales targets, forecast revenue, and manage the sales pipeline.
4. Strategic Thinking: The SMB Manager must have the ability to think strategically, including the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop sales strategies to increase revenue.
5. Data-Driven Decision-making: You have a strong analytical mindset, including the ability to analyze sales data and metrics to make informed decisions.
You will

- Be the Directly Responsible Individual for the success of your reps
- Coach, teach, motivate, and develop new sellers to learn and improve their sales skills
- Build a plan for SMB sales team by partnering with the teams in demand gen, growth product, growth marketing, and business systems
- Take ownership of enablement and new sales methodology teachingsÂ
- Report to company partners on successes, failures, and requirements for future success
- Work with sales leadership and sales enablement to fine tune our sales processes.
- Promote through pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and using data to recognize trends and improve business across all areas.
You have
- 2+ year of B2B SaaS selling experience or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of achieving your targets
- An internal desire to coach others towards success
- Experience putting the customer first and being “Customer > Company > Team > Self” oriented
- You love beating your target and helping your teammates do the same.
- Experience and deep product knowledge of the Survey’s platform
- A deep desire to be additive to the SurveyMonkey culture and the sales team’s culture
- This role will be remote-friendly
