Zettle by PayPal currently seeks a talented and entrepreneurial Outbound Account Executive to join Mexico City Inside Sales team based in This represents an exciting opportunity to join, learn, and grow in our enthusiastic team. As an account executive, you will contribute to the growth of PayPal’s acceptance of offline merchants, get to work with fast-growing merchants seeking guidance on how to take their business to the next level.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with provided leads and prospective business customers for purpose of selling products and/or services while maintaining high level of customer service/satisfaction (acting as main point of contact for inquiries).
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to all merchants throughout the entire sales process.
  • Perform outbound calling to all leads provided by Zettle / PayPal to identify sales opportunity.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach while probing for information and ask appropriate open-ended questions to uncover, assess and understand customer’s business needs and concerns.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to all merchants throughout the entire sales process.
  • Effectively manage a robust sales pipeline while developing a comprehensive strategy for long term success.
  • Maintain consistently high call quality with pre-profiled merchants, prospected merchants, while effectively communicating with inbound sales representatives.
  • Effectively communicate a high level of technical and business acumen within and between teams.
  • Open to receiving and providing coaching.
  • Consistently meet or exceed pre-assigned sales and activity targets.
  • Meet and exceed established sales and revenue targets.
  • Build, manage and deliver on a pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed sales activity targets such as discovery calls, outbound communications, new account acquisitions and close rates.
  • Develop personal sales strategies to achieve sales goals and exceed sales targets.
  • Represent the company at the occasional tradeshow, in varied markets.
  • Ability to execute the entire sales process starting with prospecting new leads to the activation of new accounts.
  • Maintain and promote a positive and professional persona while building collaborative relationships among potential and existing internal and external customers and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate productive teamwork through positive attitude, being supportive in words and actions, embodying the core values of PayPal.<
  • Exemplify job professionalism through exercising discretion and good judgment, while keeping company and customer information confidential.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to overall sales and team results.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales experience.
  • 1+ years of outbound sales experience in infrastructure, software, fintech, financial or ecommerce industries.
  • Must be quality and detailed oriented yet understand the level of detail appropriate for each situation.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
  • A team player with great interpersonal, cross-functional project management abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and work many sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-through.
