Be a part of the Philips Oral Healthcare Dental Professional sales team. Philips is seeking high-energy, career growth-minded individuals for this exciting growth opportunity. Your primary job responsibilities are to make outbound calls to build strong customer relationships and achieve quarterly and yearly sales quotas. You'll also be responsible for identifying opportunities within an assigned customer base and present solutions virtually by upselling and cross-selling Philips Sonicare and Zoom Whitening solutions is essential. Prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business within the assigned territory is essential to this role. The role will have aligned territories and require collaboration with outside sales representatives.

You are responsible for (but not limited to):
  • Achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly KPI metrics as well as achieving sales quota.
  • Meet & exceed productivity outreach efforts to customers (primarily telephone and email communications).
  • Build trusted long-term relationships with customers that leads to strong brand affinity and ultimately help with Philips's MOR (Most often Recommended) growth initiative.
  • Perform well-organized weekly calls with all Field Service Representatives counterparts to discuss prior weeks activities and determine current week's strategy.
  • Effectively use CRM system to plan day, call Dental Professional offices in several territories, record all activities and schedule appropriate follow up tasks.
  • Accurately enter both inbound and self-generated outbound sales orders into order management tool.
  • Follow up with detailed e-mails to drive further establish the superiority of the Sonicare toothbrush and Zoom take home whitening.
  • Perform detailed virtual Lunch and Learns to introduce existing and new customers to breadth of Philips portfolio and how offerings can help address customer needs for patient retention, patient acquisition, practice building and treatment plan adoption.
  • Proactively contribute to territory planning/coverage with all FSR's by studying the market and customer trends in the territory.
  • Time management is essential in this role and the ability to shift focus on outbound, and other responsibilities all while serving the needs of the customer and achieving sales funnel and revenue requirements.
  • Build a strong internal network to support the efficient delivery of value to our customers, execute deals and resolve customer issues.
  • Effectively manage your time calling on current customers to build relationships and calling prospects to gain additional business.
  • Achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly KPI metrics as well as achieving sales quota.
  • Shift: West Zone - 10:00am - 7:00pm CT
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


You are a part of

Philip's Oral Healthcare Inside Sales team, which is part of the Global Business Services (GBS) North American hub, in Nashville, TN. Inside Sales Representatives are a part of a larger team and will report to the Inside Sales Supervisor, sales reps also work closely with Philips sales teams in the field and within the assigned territory.

To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Commissioned inside or field sales experience with a demonstrable history of quota achievement.
  • Proven experience with conducting inbound/outbound phone calls, preferably in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Experience working in a sales environment, calling on customers, and prospecting for new customers.
  • Professional sales skills, appearance, written and oral skills.
  • Desire to advance your sales skills; experience working in a sales environment.
  • Excellent telephone skills; able to build relationships with key decision makers.
  • Must be able to work within a Team environment, performance-based culture.
  • Able to determine customer's requirements and recommend Philips solutions & services.
  • Excellent presentation, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced, relationship & transactional sales environment.
  • Understanding of CRM concepts to manage accounts; experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or equivalent.
  • Ability to determine customer's requirements and recommend Oral Health solutions.
  • Ability to use technology is a must as multiple screens aid in customer interaction.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Ability to work designated zone and shift requirements
