Job Description

As an Renewals Representative you will work closely with the Enterprise and Territory sales teams to assist in furthering their relationships and customer penetration for the benefit of SUSE.

Focus Areas

  • Work closely with a small team of account executives (AEs) to build on and expand existing relationships with customers as well as identify upsells and cross sell opportunities.

  • Support AEs with customer contact, quoting, transaction handling, and forecast maintenance.

  • Propose additional SUSE solutions that will quickly resolve customer issues.

  • Operate collaboratively with SUSE teams who are all touching the customer and the ecosystem.

Experience & Skills

  • Professional sales development or renewals experience, preferably in IT / Data Center sales.

  • Demonstrated experience & success in selling renewals through partners and their initiatives.

  • Brings a solid understanding of the open source, Software Defined Infrastructure or Cloud market and related customer needs a plus.

  • Role specifics may include related industry knowledge including but not limited to Linux, SDS, SDN, other open source software in infrastructure layer, HPC and SAP HANA. 

  • Experience working in a team selling environment

  • Excellent relationship building skills – truly engages with contacts (including the sourcer) and knows how to tell a compelling story

  • Understand and use the power of social selling (social media)

  • In-depth and comprehensive knowledge of usual sales methodologies and channel / partner models.

  • In-depth knowledge of and/or relationship with the assigned partners (relevant for the specific role)

  • Fluent written and verbal communication in Portuguese, business proficiency in English required

  • Willingness to travel and flexibility in working hours required.
