Inside Sales Representative
Job Description
The Inside Sales Representative is a critical contributor to OTAVA's sales efforts supporting our customer base. The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) plays a crucial role in driving revenue by actively engaging with potential clients, understanding their business needs, and determining if Otava's solutions can solve the business issue. The primary focus will be on prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals to expand our customer base. This position involves a combination of phone-based and online communications. The measurements for success include account retention, customer loyalty, account growth, and cross selling work.
This position is being filled in one of the following locations: Ann Arbor, MI
Role Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential leads through research, inbound inquiries, and outbound efforts.
- Utilize various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to engage with prospects.
- Develop a deep understanding of our solutions and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential and existing customers.
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our solutions
- Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical decision-makers
- Cultivate strong relationships with prospects and clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution architects and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Partner with sales and marketing to define calling strategy and understand the purchasing process
- Manage and update CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
Experience
- 2+ years of inside sales experience and success, preferably within the technology or cloud services industry
- Experience with heavy calling and emailing is a plus.
- Familiar with cloud and cloud-related technologies
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to develop rapport quickly
- Basic understanding of Cloud and or IaaS services
- Proficient with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office suite, TEAMs
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Desire to be a part of the fast-paced, high-energy entrepreneurial experience
- Proven track record with complex enterprise-level IT environments, including understanding of servers, networking, hosting, colocation, and data centers
Education
Associate's degree or higher
