Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support all sales management and outside sales management.
  • Coordinate sales orders with manufacturing, inventory and service and assembly departments.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Monitor status of sales orders.
  • Support shipping and invoicing department.
  • As required, support internal and external customer on evenings and weekends.
  • Communicate with plant personnel on evenings and weekends regarding customer orders.
  • Comply with all applicable HSE requirements as specified in Quality Tubing's HSE Operational Requirement for Roles and Responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, preferred.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and customers.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
