Job Description

NCQA is hiring an Inside Sales Representative! The inside sales representative sells NCQA products and services mainly through inbound selling. This role manages the sales pipeline for new businesses. It requires the timely engagement of inbound inquiries, as well as outbound follow-up, to help customers make their buying decisions. The role will also prospect new business for small- and mid-sized accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:

Inside Sales, Prospecting & Account Management

  • Responsible for qualifying opportunities and managing the sales cycle for each prospect through closure toward established sales targets.
  • Manage your time/schedule to meet identified targets.
  • Prospect for new opportunities.
  • Increase company revenue by generating sales from new and existing customers.
  • Effectively discuss the value of NCQA programs and services and relate it to potential customer organizations.
  • Meet or exceed sales and opportunity goals for key products.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NCQA programs and the healthcare industry.
  • Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate data in Salesforce.
  • Assist Director with monthly pipeline management, reporting, reconciliation, and projecting, uncovering potential new sales opportunities.
  • Help identify customer and business trends and provide feedback to sales, marketing, operations, and product teams.

Other duties to help support the organization, as necessary.

Required Education and Skillset:

  • 4-year college degree and equivalent experience in sales.
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Numbers-focused. Wants to drive above and beyond goals.
  • Ability to work with our CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook) experience.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth sales presentations highlighting key benefits, ROI, and the value of our programs.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively.
  • This position may require some travel.
