Inside Sales Representative
Job Description
Smartrr is the leading next generation subscription app built to maximize LTV for Shopify brands. The Inside Sales Rep role would is a key member of our Revenue team, responsible for sourcing, qualifying and closing both inbound and outbound leads. An average day will be a mix of client-facing demos our Shopify subscription app, responding to prospective clients on email, phone and chat, and researching and reaching out to prospective clients. With mentorship and guidance from experienced Sales professionals, the ISR role represents a great opportunity to grow your career in a fast-growing industry at an exciting and dynamic startup.
Responsibilities
- Meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue goals
- Timely response to inbound leads via email, phone and chat
- Qualifying leads by understanding and consulting with them on their ecommerce business model
- Conducting effective sales presentations and demonstrations of Smartrr's application
- Researching up-and-coming direct-to-consumer brands that might benefit from Smartrr subscriptions
- Conducting proactive outreach to outbound target accounts
- Maintaining records of prospect engagement and good CRM hygiene (via Hubspot)
- Preparing and sending contracts to close deals
- Answer clients from prospective clients and providing support up to and during onboarding with Client Success
Requirements
- 1-3 years of sales experience preferred (ideally in software/SaaS sales)
- Ability work independently and drive to hit performance goals
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Proficiency in influencing, presenting effective business proposals and guiding decision-making
- Tenacity and determination to overcome objections, learn from setbacks and achieve goals in a competitive environment
