Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Specialist is the primary liaison between the Company and our Customers. In this role, you will focus on identifying and securing new customers that can benefit from Anatomage's world class online medical education platform that radically improves the learning experience for students and teachers. We equip instructors with the tools needed to derive the maximum value from the digital solution aligned to their course materials to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

The successful Inside Sales Representative will drive eBook sales within the assigned territory by connecting with the stakeholders and cultivate relationships to build and maintain customers for life. Our goal is to be knowledge experts and a trusted partner to our customers. The primary functions of this position are acquiring and supporting new customers by leveraging technology and tools to maximize the impact of Anatomage solutions with educators and learners. This is an ideal position for individuals with entrepreneurial spirits and who want to build something from scratch and have the know-how to do so.

To thrive in this Inside Sales position, the representative is required to have a solid understanding of Anatomage's products and providing support through a set of standard operating procedures, resulting in increased sales and success of customers across North America. The individuals who are experienced communicators are expected to seek out, engage and close business all while working in a dynamic and complex environment. Intellectual curiosity and an appreciation for educational institutions are keys to success in this role.

What you will be doing:
  • Manage relationships with all customers through use of consultative sales techniques to ensure the obtainment of individual sales and call quality goals
  • Maximize potential of initial sale by converting prospects to customers.
  • You will help our customers understand our products through video-conference, phone, email and chat.
  • You will play a pivotal role in helping our customers determine how our platform may or may not fit their needs and help them to make an educated purchase decision.
  • You must be willing to turn customers away if our device is a "bad-fit" for their challenges.

Other Duties:
  • You may (on occasion) be asked to help train customers to use our platform
  • We like meeting our customers face-to-face and you may occasionally be asked to participate in trade shows.
  • All Anatomage team members embrace an "on-it" mindset which means pitching in and helping out across the business where needed.


Requirements

What we are looking for:
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in consultative selling or supporting products aligned to education, Educational Technology, or have professional experience within higher education is preferred but not required
  • Capacity to think outside the box and solve problems independently. Must think critically, be creative and not be afraid to experiment
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication, and time management skills
  • Customer-Centric mentality and a solid work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask effectively and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers professionally, efficiently, and effectively. Using telephone, email, and social media.
  • Flexibility in a dynamically growing/evolving company
  • Ability to follow set processes and to manage customer orders, handle customer issues, accurately record records in our CRM.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in both written and oral form
  • Strong computer skills, including CRM, PowerPoint, ZOOM, Outreach, etc.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ambition

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
