Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out responsibilities in accordance with established organizational policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and applicable laws
  • Receive and analyze inquires to determine correct business unit to assist with the request
  • Prepare standard and engineering to order quotations for appropriate Salesperson and/or customer
  • Create Opportunities/Quotes and route to appropriate Product Specialist, as needed, and provide quotation status
  • Answer questions regarding the quotation and offer alternative equipment when necessary
  • Assist Sales with multiple reports and help follow up on any customer leads
  • Conduct compliance checks for both quotations and orders to ensure NOV is compliant
  • Review Rig Technologies orders to confirm all Minimum Booking Requirements are met
  • Provide Sales Order Acknowledgement to Sales and Customers direct
  • Provide Sales Order information (delivery, documentation, shipping, etc.) to Sales and customer when needed
  • Back-up Sales when they are not available and/or are out of the office
  • Attend customer meetings with Sales to optimize process and provide additional support
  • Set up/coordinate factory acceptance tests with customers and attend when needed
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement processes / procedures establishing Best Practices
  • Build and maintain positive, professional business relationships with internal and external customers
  • Provide management with regular updates related to specific accounts and area of support
  • Complete any other projects & responsibilities requested by management

Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must have excellent communication skills
  • 4-year College Degree in related field or 7 - 10 years' experience in Sales or related discipline
  • Must have 2-5 years of experience in Oilfield Drilling or Services Industry
  • 2 to 5 years of management or sales experience and/or proven leadership abilities
  • Possess advanced usage of MS Office with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Power Point
