We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative - Automation individual who will be responsible to drive consumables growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinate multiple consumable sales opportunities and account management activities; perform all sales activities within a specific geography
- Demonstrate effective selling skills and product understanding to uncover customer needs to position an appropriate consumable solution
- Effectively manage product line consumables in the assigned territory through strategic planning and tactical implementation; develop and maintain healthy consumable funnel detail for assigned territory
- Participate in sales activities to include attend tradeshows, customer field visits with outside sales representatives, regional business meetings and global sales meetings
- Utilize Sales Force.com as a CRM and to maintain customer activity files
- Qualify prospects to determine sales potential; effectively coordinate with your outside field representative to assist in driving consumable growth and improve instrument consumable attachment rates; expand consumable attachments to current instrument install base
- Execute current consumable campaign against new business opportunities, grow existing opportunities, and retain our current consumables customer base; actively participate and develop new accounts, generate sales quotes, and handle customer inquiries
The required qualifications for the job include:
- A Bachelor's degree in a scientific field is essential, preferably in Biochemistry; minimum of one year of successful sales experience in consumables or hardware
- Highly motivated, success driven and passion for sales; solid understanding of tactical sales skills and progressing customers through the buying cycle
- Proven ability and capacity to learn technical and complex information
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills leading to results; disciplined, focus, and organized Experience with personal computer, e-mail, and Microsoft Office Programs
