Inside Sales Sr. Manager

This is a management role within Chamberlain Group's Sales function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Drive the building of targeted business plans and strategies for allocating resources and driving sales activities to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets within the Inside Sales Group, and (ii) Develop the product knowledge and sales skills of the Inside Sales team by providing ongoing product, services and sales skills training provided by LiftMaster, Chamberlain Group and outside sources. (iii) Develop, coach and guide the Inside Sales team to optimize their performance and generate high-quality leads, which lead to revenue growth (iv) Set and obtain an annual sales goal specific to this group focused on prospects and assigned customers. Requires 10+ years in sales or relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create the framework and structure for a proactive, out-bound oriented inside sales team with a focus on a growth and sales orientation, leveraging analytics, business intelligence and marketplace awareness
- Collaborate with the myQ Community and myQ Enterprise sales leadership teams to create a cohesive program of success including lead generation, qualification and scheduling with field BD resources
- Lead, mentor and develop the inside sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets through robust outbound call based sales activity
- Set and obtain an annual sales goal specific to this group focused on prospects and assigned customers, as well as adding emphasis for myQ Community and myQ Enterprise end-users
- Set and obtain a monthly Sales Accepted Lead program where SDRs will qualify leads and schedule customer meetings with BD resources, which should lead to an opportunity progression
- Oversee and maintain the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads to the sales team
- Utilize data and analytics to make data-driven decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop curriculum for team that drives selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities that result in ongoing profitable revenue growth for LiftMaster
- Develop and execute ongoing training, coaching, and support to help team members improve their product technical knowledge
- Monitor, troubleshoot and improve area-of-control operations to ensure alignment to LiftMaster's business direction, quality of business practices, optimum organizational performance and a highly motivated inside sales force
- Act as a second level of escalation; has approval authority for pricing discounts and credit delegations
- Ensure inside sales and outside sales alignment to drive incremental sales growth
- Conduct fact-finding on customer needs, opportunities and other information-gathering activities
- Generate and present regular reports on team performance and key metrics to senior management
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
- Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
- Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company's policies
- Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
- Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CGI mission, vision and values.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of relevant work experience + years in business-to-business retail sales management
- Ability to travel up to 20% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license
