We are looking for a North America Digital Applied Analytics, Director. The continued success of our Digital business hinges on the ability of this role to spearhead our Digital Analytics strategies and deliver digital consumer insights that power our business. The ideal candidate will be passionate about understanding digital consumer behaviors, enjoy working with large data sets, and gifted at translating sophisticated analytics into concise stories for the business. This role is ideal if you are curious, comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment and relish the opportunity to work multi-functionally tackling complicated business problems. We are looking for someone with the desire to champion data driven decision making across the organization, as well as the ability to lead, develop, coach, and inspire other analysts around them.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Your day-to-day work will involve being a "data detective" and consumer advocate for our Digital Business. You'll partner with our digital leadership to deliver insights and recommendations on the best path to better serve our Nike Digital consumers and their evolving needs. A typical day includes:

- Demonstrating large consumer data sets to extract useful insights to inform key business decisions for Nike's Digital business.

- Being wired into the day-to-day performance management of the business and responsible for business partner relationships & communications

- Partnering with business teams and peer analytics groups (both within the North America geography and across our global organization), with a focus on streamlining our "Insights Extraction" operating model

- Serve as a visible leader and change agent for the analytics organization

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

Collaborating with the Sr. Director of North America Digital Applied Analytics, you will sit within the centralized Analytics & Insights function and serve as a Digital Analytics leader and subject matter authority. This highly visible role will have you closely collaborating with Digital business leaders to help them build, deliver, & optimize best-in-class digital retail experiences. You'll also partner closely with multi-functional analytics team to create a comprehensive understanding of our consumers and implement scalable insights to drive consumer engagement and growth in North America.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, statistics, computer science, econometrics, applied math, or a quantitative behavioral sciences field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Minimum 8+years of relevant professional experience

- Proficiency in SQL or similar experience analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets required

- Ability to demystify measurement and translate data to consumable, relatable and actionable insights

- Proven track record collaborating and work with non-Analytics partners in a fast paced environment

- Strong communication and influencing skills to champion our consumer's needs, serving as an independent and unbiased "truth seeker"

- Ability to influence critical business outcomes in a matrixed, global environment
