Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and establish new Institutional, Consulting and RIA relationships by calling and visiting with contacts and firms to introduce and sell SIMG products.
- Maintain existing relationships by providing updates and information to Institutional Consultants and RIA relationships on a regular basis.
- Ensure client servicing needs are met by providing monthly, quarterly and other reporting needs based on the client's requirements. Compile and verify accuracy of client reports, ensure all reporting requirements and investment guidelines are met, deliver client reporting statements in a timely manner and in the client's preferred format.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials for separately managed accounts and CITs including commentaries, fact sheets, presentations, etc. Assist with the compilation and formatting of all information contained therein.
- Understand SIMG's investment strategies in detail (philosophy/process) in order to speak to clients and prospect relationships about the investment services offered by SIMG.
- Assist in production of Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information and Due Diligence Questionnaires.
- Work with SIMG specific systems and software to generate reports and provide analysis, reporting and marketing of SIMG products.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Series 6 - Investment Company/Variable Contract Products Representative and/or Series 65 - Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam; or
- Series 7 - General Securities Representative and/or Series 66 - Uniform Combined State Law Exam
