Overview

This role sits within the Institutional Client Group (ICG) and focuses on Foreign Exchange (FX) Sales. The ICG facilitates primary origination, distribution, and secondary market-making of Fixed Income & Currencies product suite and financing to institutional clients, including financials, asset managers, pension funds, insurers, hedge funds, private equity, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be able to understand and interpret market trends and work in a high paced environment under pressure.

What You'll Do

  • Develop strong relationships with partners, Portfolio Managers, principals, and capital markets professionals at the clients you cover
  • Manage and execute FX spot, swaps, forwards, options, and correlation products across all currencies
  • Work collaboratively with product partners in trading and structuring to deliver creative solutions for your client base
  • Client wallet share analysis as well as helping generate new revenue opportunities for FX
  • New business development, including new product/markets/geographies
  • Drive sales growth by creating new / developing existing relationships both in North America and globally

Skills You'll Need

  • Proven experience within Fixed Income & Currencies Sales / Trading
  • Strong interpersonal skills for developing new client relationships and communicating with various Deutsche Bank teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Macroeconomic experience analyzing geopolitical trends

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $135K to $175K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
