Job Description & Responsibilities:

Blackstone is seeking a business development professional to support the effort to proactively develop new clients and expand relationships with sophisticated family offices, RIAs and endowments and foundations across the entire Blackstone platform. The Private Capital team is looking for an associate who is organized, detail-oriented and client centric. The key function of the role will be to support business development efforts across the US.

• Help identify and cultivate high quality relationships with family offices; this includes supporting the effort to develop goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to create meaningful relationships with family offices, RIAs and endowments and foundations, resulting in a consistent awareness of Blackstone's strategies and growth in assets under management
• Collaborate on various research projects utilizing internal and external resources to help grow the business
• Maintain a high level of prospecting activity to map key markets
• Assist on marketing efforts with LP base - semi-annual think tank events, fund specific webinars, and other sales initiatives
• Support and encourage a team-oriented model with effective communication, transparency and trust

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:

• Undergraduate degree
• 2+ years of financial industry experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with the ability to effectively position Blackstone and its capabilities to investors
• Ability to engage clients
• Desire to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, and collaborate across business units
• Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize targets and handle a busy calendar of client meetings
• Self-starter, entrepreneurial and goal oriented, with a high level of accountability and drive
• Some travel required
• Commitment to complete FINRA licenses (Series 7, 63, 79) within first six months

Expected annual base salary range:

$125,000 - $150,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
