WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work with our internal Institutional Sales teams and fund clients

  • Provide support to the salespeople on the team working directly with institutional investors in the venture-backed secondary market

  • Take a key role in managing the Institutional sales pipeline, managing internal systems and key deal documents with counterparties

  • Assist with day-to-day tasks vital to the success of the team including handling client inquiries, helping to execute transactions, providing market color, and other ad hoc projects

  • Support the teams data infrastructure, utilizing Salesforce and client data to stay organized 

  • Support team initiatives regarding new revenue streams and assisting

  • Qualify and identify prospective shareholders of private tech companies, and interact with c-suite operators at both issuers and funds alike

  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in Private Markets

  • Conduct research on the broader mid-late stage pricing environment and participate in the deal valuation process

  • Prepare outbound sales campaigns; work directly to qualify inbound leads

  • Help with reporting and analytics in order to define and test best practices


THE RIGHT STUFF

  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) is required

  • 1+ years experience as an Investment Analyst, Investment Sales Support, or general venture capital / financial services

  • Experience with lead generation/prospecting and/or sales development

  • An interest in the venture capital asset class

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, and written)

  • Highly organized and works hard and smart with attention to detail

  • Collaborative approach and team player mentality

  • Process-oriented, data-driven and tech-forward

  • Self-driven, motivated, and results-driven

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience with the institutional investor channel

  • Comprehension of private valuation metrics

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, SQL, Tableau, Salesloft, and Excel
