What you'll do:
- Work across the Institutional Life business to execute in a variety of market environments and future potential competitive environments.
- Maximize new business value generation from Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI), and Corporate Owned Life Insurance (COLI) products.
- Develop strategies to maximize value from Institutional Life's $30+ billion of BOLI and COLI to support inforce persistency and identify incremental sales opportunities.
- Assess immediate needs to maintain competitiveness and place appropriate business.
- Manage Case Pipeline.
- Provide input on BOLI Crediting Rate Strategy for both inforce and new business factoring in investment activity and competitor intelligence.
- Manage the Institutional Life Marketing Function.
- Provide market and competitor insights for BOLI and COLI to inform and influence strategic direction and investment decisions.
What you need for the job:
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years' pertinent experience.
- Experience in roles requiring in-depth research/analysis; leading complex cross functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated history as an energetic leader.
- Passion for leading change and challenging the status quo.
- Deep understanding of life insurance products.
- Breadth of experience working in roles with research development and strategic thought.
- Passion for leading a team and developing talent.
- Honed influencing skills.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to travel at least quarterly.
Bonus points for these:
- MBA, CFA, career ASA / FSA.
- Corporate strategy, product development and actuarial roles.
- Series 6 or 7.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule with remote working Mondays/Fridays and
on-site collaboration in our New York office Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays.

Salary range: $145,000-$215,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
