Instructional Design Intern

We're hiring an Instructional Design Summer Intern!

The intern program runs from May 24th through August 4th at our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters.

About this position

The Instructional Design Intern will work with our full-time Instructional Designer to create and develop learning and development programs and materials for internal team members. The Intern will also work with the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator on scheduling and logistics through the LMS.

As a member of the Talent Development team, the Instructional Design Intern will help identify and creates learning opportunities for the internal team members on various subject matters.

What you'll do

• You will partner with Instructional Designers to create engaging learning activities and course content for internal stakeholders.
• You will complete tasks related to the Learning Management Software (LMS) as assigned.
• You will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop learning materials on various topics.
• You will improve upon training to better accommodate and engage various learners.
• You will lead intake meetings with business leaders to gather information for and ideate on new training based on business needs.
• You will research assigned training topics.
• You will gather and review trainee feedback to improve upon already created training and improve personal presentation skills.

You should have

• You are a current matriculating student for undergrad or graduate schools.
• You have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in all formats, including Microsoft 365 and Adobe Suite.
• You have a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to analyze, critique and offer recommendations for improvement.
• You can collaborate with others and thrive in a team environment while meeting individual goals and expectations.
