Main Purpose of the Role

Supports the O.C. Tanner Institute Education team; we're looking for someone who is motivated to build upon existing knowledge in a related field or basic knowledge of instructional design to help create retail training content for our external clients.

The ideal candidate will be available 15-30 hours per week (project dependent). This position is required to be onsite at our Salt Lake City headquarters 4-8 hours per day during business hours Mondays through Wednesdays and may work remotely on Thursdays and Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

Specific assignments will depend on aptitude and projects underway during the engagement, but are likely to include these responsibilities:

  • Produce or support production of client-specific versions of existing video and eLearning content
  • Write and/or review scripts and storyboards for multiple learning modalities such as job aids, videos, eLearning, and live delivery solutions
  • Use approved scripts to develop content in Adobe (Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) and Articulate suites (Storyline, Rise) or other authoring and design tools as needed
  • Assist with QC reviews and technical testing to ensure usability of all deliverables
  • Support project management, documentation, and evaluation processes
  • Ideate or produce data visualization for embedding into static and animated learning content
  • Research and share trends related to learning technology and delivery

  • Video production
  • Data visualization
  • Production of virtual events
  • Virtual or classroom teaching
  • LMS or LXP systems
