Instructional Design Intern - Summer Semester

BAF is recruiting an Instructional Design Intern who will partner with industry leaders in team members to ensure instructional content aligns with technical department needs. This exciting opportunity will conclude with a presentation to BAF executives to relay findings and recommendations based on the information gathered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current technical support knowledge library and training to assess needs and make recommendations for revisions
• Partner with leaders and subject matter experts within the technical support team to analyze gaps, design, develop and implement updates to both digital and in person content
• Ability to interpret training needs that solve learning needs within the technical support team including technical library resources
• Apply design best practices in a creative and engaging manner while maintaining BAF brand standards
• Assimilate and evaluate content from multiple sources
• Utilize company training platform Absorb
• Ability to summarize findings and recommendations in written and verbal form

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year degree program with a focus on Instructional Design, learning or other relevant field of study
• Understanding of technical and or engineering concepts
• Available to work a consistent weekly schedule for the duration of the internship
• Self-motivated, driven, and detail-oriented
• Excellent organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Desire to learn and grow professionally
