What it’s like to be Federated Instructional Designer

Our Learning team plays an impactful role in designing and developing effective learning solutions for employees and leaders, specifically our Federated Insurance Sales professionals. This position will be integral to designing learning solutions using various learning modalities based on our training and educational content. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with our learning team to design and develop Federated’s learning solutions (eLearnings, blended learnings, micro learnings etc.) using modern adult-learning techniques.

We want your talent

If you are great at:

• Design and develop the training and value add materials

• Develop learning outline/storyboarding of the training & educational content.

• Build e-learning, micro learnings, and facilitator led courses that are professional, interactive, fun, and creative

• Ensure an effective delivery of all materials including guidance as needed

• Ensure the evaluation, monitoring and reporting of all training and education content

If you have:

• University/College degree in Adult Education or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in instructional design creating blended solutions for technical, functional, and soft skills training

• Competent in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise Vyond, Adobe, and other video-creation software

• Experience with virtual classroom software: i.e., MS Teams, Adobe Connect and WebEx/Live meeting

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Background in Adult Education is preferred

• Sales training experience is an asset
