Are you someone that enjoys creating new educational and e-learning programs? Have you built technical education programs and content that made people successful in their jobs? We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to build training solutions that educate and empower engineers at Twitch to build amazing apps for live streaming. As part of the Engineering Builder Platform team, you'll create module based educational programs that have a significant impact on engineering quality and the developer experience. You will report to the leader of engineering education and events. You can work in Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA; New York, NY; Salt Lake City, UT or be fully remote anywhere in US. 

• Develop the strategy for engineering education at Twitch
• Improve the engineering education programs including creation of module-based learning materials like blended learning, ILT, e-learning, micro, virtual and video
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, partners, customers and SMEs on the design, implementation and maintenance of training content and programs
• Strategize and select learning management systems that accomplish our goals

• 3+ years experience designing training for software engineers
• Technical degree or equivalent recent experience that shows depth of technical ability with programming and software deployment skills
• Experience with e-learning to guide the delivery of training solutions
• Demonstrated expertise creating mechanisms and metrics to evaluate performance of learning programs

• Knowledge of AWS tools and concepts

The base pay range for this position in Colorado, Connecticut, Washington and New Jersey is $125,100 - $152,900 yr and in New York City is $137,610 - $168,190 yr. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
