The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who loves creating engaging training content for both virtual and in-person facilitation for new and existing customers as well as some of our internal team members. Instructional Designers are the behind the scene orchestrators of one of the most important pieces of our customers' journeys with us as well as our Titans' journeys. They help drive innovation for the team and training programs provided to our customers. Instructional Designers serve as Product, Industry & Training Experts and provide valuable input by developing content for our industry-relevant training programs.
This role is focused on eLearning video creation. A critical part of the role is a desire to understand the product inside and out. You'll roll up your sleeves and work with the product to design and build hands-on learning experiences. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Customer Support.

Our headquarters is located in Chesterfield in St. Louis County; however, some local positions will be remote until the time is right to return to the office while other roles are more office-based. Fully remote employees will stay remote.

What You'll Do:
- Partner with key stakeholders such as Client Services Team Management and Program Managers to plan instructional design projects, develop and iterate on customer training content through the creation of facilitator guides, handouts and other instructional materials for our customer training team
- Maintain the highest quality and accuracy of all product and industry content at all times
- Partner with Program Managers and members of our Product Team as needed to ensure content accuracy with every product update or release
- Promote collaboration, partnership and relationships among the participants and stakeholders in a design project
- Apply adult learning theories into practical, application-based leadership learning strategy
- Communicate effectively in visual, oral, and written form and creates engaging presentations for the team to utilize
- Present the new content to the team in a timely manner and with enough instruction and context; it requires very little "lead time" for the trainers to adopt
- Acquire and apply new technology skills to instructional design practice
- Remain a thought leader in instructional design and innovation
- Design learning that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners, including the demonstrated understanding of cultural differences that may apply
What You'll Need:
- 2-5 years of experience in training, education, or other related field with strong preference given to candidates with an instructional design background or experience creating instructional resources
- Consistent track record of taking initiative and contributing to the evolution of a training program
- Excellent ability to multi-task the design, development, and execution of multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of experience and education that enables performance for this position
- Ability to travel once a quarter or as designated by the business needs
- Ability to create supporting content (e.g. handouts & documentation) to support instructor-led training & certification courses
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with any LMS and training development tools such as Articulate Rise, Lessonly, Google Suite as well as any Adobe products
- Experience with Hubspot, Confluence, Jira or other like products a plus
- Experience incorporating change management principles into training/teaching programs to promote adoption & minimize resistance
- Instructional Designers with L&D experience are welcome, but strong preference will be given to candidates with technical training backgrounds
