Instructional Media Designer (Contractor)

As a Senior Instructional Media Designer (Contractor) at QGenda, you will be responsible for designing and developing technical training content for QGenda’s Customer Experience team. This position requires an advanced knowledge of multiple eLearning modalities including video tutorials, software simulations, and advanced eLearning interactions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create technical training videos and materials that empower our employees to maximize their understanding and utilization of our products and services. Your expertise in innovative training methodologies will drive the success of our customer training initiatives. Experience with the Articulate and Adobe Creative Cloud suite is required.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and enhance comprehensive training courses tailored to meet the varying needs and skill levels of our Customer Experience team.

• Content Creation: Create engaging and interactive training content, including e-learning modules, video demonstrations, technical software simulation, and advanced learning interactions.

• Rapid Development: Create modern and innovative training materials using the latest technology solutions for efficient development.

• Instructional Design: Apply modern instructional design principles to design effective and learner-centered training materials that align with desired learning outcomes.

• Multimedia Integration: Incorporate multimedia elements such as graphics, animations, simulations, and gamification to enhance the effectiveness and engagement of training materials.

• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, training teams, and cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy of training content.

• Assessment and Evaluation: Develop assessments, quizzes, and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.

Who You Are 

• Exceptional planning, prioritization, and project management skills to manage multiple activities and projects with rapid development.
• COURSE DEVELOPMENT (Proficiency: Advanced) Demonstrated experience building a variety of learning courses, paths, programs, and resources from needs analysis through launch with experience in a variety of development software (Articulate, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.) 
• MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPMENT(Proficiency: Advanced) Demonstrated experience developing videos, gifs, voiceovers, and software simulations. 
• GRAPHIC DESIGN: (Proficiency: Advanced) Demonstrated experience with graphic design, including developing vector graphics and editing images for the use of eLearning deliverables.

Experience You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Proven experience (4+ years) in instructional design and curriculum development, preferably in a technology or SaaS company.
• Proficiency in using instructional design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, etc.). 
• Portfolio of work samples illustrating the use of video and software simulation.
