Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Instructional Systems Designer located at WPAFB, OH.

Responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support to faculty to create supporting synchronous and asynchronous material/media (audio, video, simulations, scenarios, learning activities, online course content, instructor-led presentations and learning assessments) using sound instructional design theory conducive to a quality education
- Provide course development support to include planning, developing, recording, editing, post-processing, synchronizing, copying, and updating AFIT course content, converting traditional learning course content into technology-enhanced DL courseware (to include instructional simulations, web content, advanced instructional media, and blended learning solutions) hosted on various industry-available platforms; interfacing with faculty, staff, sponsors, and hosts in development of courseware and performing associated general multimedia duties/tasks in a university setting
- Manage all technical aspects of learning projects for the entire life cycle of the product and aid faculty with LMS administration
- Provide expertise for curriculum development to create robust live resident and distance learning products
- Assist with the development of live and blended courses and will provide technical assistance to faculty in the conversion of lesson content to host on the LMS
- Develop instructional simulations, web content, advanced instructional media, and blended learning solutions and provide advice on the latest instructional techniques and trends
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Educational Technology, instructional Design, Educational Design, or related discipline required
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Familiarity with software systems such as Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, iSpring, Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, Lectora, JavaScript, Presenter, and HTML
- Experience with Canvas LMS highly desired
