Job Summary
Lead and empower instructors of the BeyondTrust University team to enhance and improve the quality, experience, and delivery of training.Â
The Education Manager, Americas, will be responsible for managing a team of expert instructors located in the USA, helping them grow professionally within BeyondTrust and the BeyondTrust University team.Â
The manager will work with key stakeholders to make sure their team is always up to date on upcoming changes to products and processes, allowing them to get ahead and deliver the changes to the customers and partners.  Â
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Manage members of the BeyondTrust University staffÂ
- Audit active public and private courses for technical accuracy and delivery standardsÂ
- Handle any customer escalations with scheduling or delivery of trainingÂ
- Help resolve any technical issues impacting the delivery of training coursesÂ
- Collaborate with other training leadership to help improve existing processesÂ
- Foster relationships between instructors and other members of the training teamÂ
- Help keep instructors up to date on upcoming process and product changesÂ
- Deliver high quality private training courses for select customers and partnersÂ
- Mentor new and existing instructorsÂ
- Actively provide feedback to instructors on their training and deliveryÂ
- Help grow the BeyondTrust University reputation within the greater organization by creating relationships with other teams and departmentsÂ
- Audit existing and new training materials for technical accuracy and consistency with BeyondTrust initiativesÂ
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems or equivalent experienceÂ
- 10+ years software industry technical experienceÂ
- 3+ years leading technical teamsÂ
- 10+ years delivering technical trainingÂ
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skillsÂ
- Excellent written and verbal communicationÂ
- Personable, yet knowledgeable training demeanorÂ
- Ability to create and keep strong relationships with key product and process stakeholdersÂ
Desirable Skills but not Required
- Knowledgeable in Learning Management SystemsÂ
- Project Management experienceÂ
- Product Management experienceÂ
