Insurance Field Agent - Base + Commission & Benefits - Waco TX

About The Role

This is a Field Agent position selling insurance products to our niche educator market. This hybrid position includes a combination of time spent working in office and schools and will primarily consist of sales appointments/field work. Commissions paid monthly, and incentives paid quarterly and annually. Also, includes a base salary of $40K and full employee benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401K; etc.).

The position reports to the Area Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Educate and sell primarily auto & home products and some life insurance
• Assist Area Manager with onsite workshops and group meetings that support educators (Student Loan Solutions, Donor's Choose, etc.)
• Support and enhance business-to-business relationships with school districts and other targeted employers at the direction of Area Manager
• Initiates contact with clients, reviews current household coverages, cross-sell and respond to service requests from clients; designed to increase retention, enhance client satisfaction, and drive new sales
• Productivity expectations for activity, appointments, and sales results, measured monthly
• Local travel required

Education & Experience

• Experience with insurance sales/service preferred
• Required Licenses: Property & Casualty; Life (if non-licensed - reimbursed if offer extended)
• Effective communication and critical thinking skills
