Your Role and Responsibilities
As an IT solutions consultant you will be responsible for the development of IT strategies for clients in the insurance industry. You will propose system solutions that utilise the latest technology and the realisation of change using IT systems.
The role will involve planning and management of each process (business design/system design/development/testing) from upstream to downstream.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Planning digital strategies based on management strategies.
• Formulate new solutions using the latest technologies and formulate proposals.
• Promote and manage system development projects to realise change through IT.
• Approaching CxOs and LOBs and building relationships with them.
• Propose renewal of existing solutions and addition of new services and function.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Project experience in the financial domain at a consultancy firm.
• Experience in development design and project management of financial systems.
• Japanese language skills to facilitate decision-making at client management level by preparing and communicating documents.
• Business level Japanese

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge of business operations and systems for the insurance industry
• Experience in financial projects at an IT vendor.
• Experience in information systems planning and marketing departments in financial institutions and insurance companies.
• Experience in planning and sales of solutions for the financial sector.
