Role overview
Your mission is to support the management and profitable growth of the company’s cyber and technology liability insurance product lines. Specifically, this role will be responsible for developing and managing the company’s large risk and excess underwriting strategy. As a senior product leader you will collaborate with every part of the business and will be a key member in shaping and executing the company’s underwriting and insurance product strategy. This role reports directly to Michael Drummond, Head of Cyber & Tech E&O.
How you’ll make an impact
By 3 months:
- You’ll have a strong understanding of the At-Bay business model and recognize the synergies between various teams such as underwriting, claims, data, research, technology, and product.
- You’ll closely monitor portfolio performance and evolving market trends to proactively drive change that supports profitable underwriting growth.
- You’ll be directly involved in strategizing and planning for new insurance product research and development.
By 6 months:
- You’ll lead the development and launch of new insurance products and underwriting strategies in core distribution channels.
- You’ll build excitement and a clear understanding of the unique value proposition of our products with internal/external customers.
- You’ll provide subject matter expertise to underwriters and be a vital resource for all insurance product related decisions across the business.
What you’ve already accomplished
- You’ve consistently delivered underwriting profit as an insurance product manager or production underwriter of Cyber or Tech E&O in the US market.
- You’ve demonstrated the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of the commercial insurance market and insurance operations.
- You’ve helped develop new insurance products from concept to launch, including policy wording, rate plans, underwriting guidelines, and/or training.
- You’ve mastered the ability to communicate complex topics in simple to understand terms and are a subject matter expert in Cyber or Tech E&O underwriting and risk management.
Our estimated base pay range for this role is around $180,000Â per year. Base salary is determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to market data, location, internal equitability, domain knowledge, experiences and skills.
